NEEF and SMWC offer following courses with
specialisation in Earth
Literacy:
1) Postgraduate Degree
Eligibility: Graduate Degree in any subject plus residency requirement
courses (for 26 credits) at SMWC, USA; Duration: 24-36
months; Course Fee: Rs.22000/- to be paid for NEEF
plus Fees to be paid to SMWC, USA @US$100 per credit (with an option of
selecting 1-4 credits in India) and @US$335 per credit during residency at
SMWC.
2) Postgraduate Diploma
Eligibility: Graduate Degree in any subject; Duration:
18-24 months; Course Fee: Rs.22000/- to be paid for NEEF plus
US$100 per credit to be paid to SMWC, USA (with an option of selecting 1-4
credits in India).
3) Certificate Course
Eligibility: Graduate Degree in any subject; Duration:
9-12 months; Course Fee: Rs.11000/- to be paid for NEEF plus
US$100 per credit to be paid to SMWC, USA (with an option of selecting 1-4
credits in India).
Note: Above Fees include the
cost of reading material,
examination fee, postal charges, etc. and there is no hidden fee. All NEEF
Life Members get 10% discount on NEEF Fees.

MODE OF OPERATION
- PG Diploma and Certificate
programmes are offered through NEEF and Conducted in India.
- You study 1-4 Credits in ELM Course
through SMWC (USA) by distance education in India for PG Diploma and
Certificate.
- Upon obtaining a pass in each of
the required modules, you are awarded certificate by the NEEF and SMWC
will issue transcript credit for credits opted for PG Diploma and
Certificate.
- PG Degree programme, in addition to
NEEF modules, requires residency requirement at SMWC and completion of
26 credits at SMWC.
- Upon completion of required course
work, PG diploma will be provided by NEEF & PG degree by SMWC.
- Assessment is conducted by NEEF
& SMWC jointly.
- You obtain a broader, more
international perspective on the environment than you would if you were
studying with only one country.
- You can articulate into post
graduate studies and work towards an eventual Ph.D.
ABOUT SMWC
Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College
(SMWC) founded in 1840, prepares students personally and professionally for
responsible roles in contemporary society. Undergraduate degrees in diverse
majors are offered for women using both traditional and external formats.
